This photograph taken and released by the African Union-United Nations Information Support Team on October 27, 2013, shows United Nations Deputy Secretary-General Jan Eliasson (2nd R) speaking with medical staff at a Level II Medical facility at the AU mission's base camp, headquarterd around Aden Abdulle International Airport in the Somali capital Mogadishu. DSG Eliasson, on the second day of a visit to the Horn of Africa nation and who last visited Somalia as Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs in September 1992. also visited the United Nations Assistance Mission in Somalia (UNSOM) facilities and offices as well as AMISOM headquarters while seeing for himself the progress made and challenges faced in stabilising Somalia after 22 years of conflict.
