(FILES) This combination of two file pictures taken in the Russian Black Sea resort of Sochi on August 22, 2013 (top), and on February 22, 2007 (bottom), shows the Olympic Park venue of the 2014 Winter Olympics (top) and the same area before the construction (bottom). For decades a seaside resort perfect for a Soviet-style summer holiday but little known outside of Russia, Sochi has undergone a makeover in six years to make it a world-class winter sports hub capable of hosting the Olympics in 100 days.
