British singer-songwriter and producer James Blake arrives from the 2013 Mercury Prize awards ceremony in central London on October 30, 2011. The Mercury Prize seeks to promote the best of UK and Irish music and the artists that produce it. This is done primarily through the celebration of the 12 ‘Albums of the Year’, the 12 shortlisted artists. James Blake was the overall winner of the 2013 Mercury Prize for his second album Overgrown.
