FRANCE-LABOUR-ALCATEL-LUCENT
Employees of the French-US telecommunications equipment manufacturer Alcatel-Lucent build a barricade with sand bags during a protest against the company's restructuring plans involving 900 job-cuts on November 8, 2013 in front of the plant of Orvault, western France. The company, which announced in October it planned another 10,000 job cuts with two years as tries to reduce costs and refocus its business, said it had an operating profit of 2.6 percent of sales in the third quarter.
