Defendant Rachid Dekali (C), the manager of the Paris-Opera hotel, arrives at the Paris criminal court on November 14, 2013 for the trial of the managers of the Paris-Opera hotel where a fire killed 24 persons, including nine women and 11 children, early on April 15, 2005. The hotel was occupied by immigrant families. Four people are charged with homicide and unintentional injuries, the night watchman, Nabil Dekali, his girlfriend at the time, Fatima Tahrour, and the managers of the hotel, and parents of the watchman, Rachid and Fatima Dekali.
