This photo taken on October 11, 2013 shows Uluru, formerly known as Ayers Rock, a large sandstone rock formation and the world's largest monolith situated in the southern part of the Northern Territory in central Australia and southwest of the nearest large town Alice Springs. Tourists to Australia are increasingly seeking an Aboriginal experience and the ancient sacred site of Uluru is on their checklist, but while the traditional Aboriginal owners do not want tourists to climb the famous red monolith, some continue to do so, prompting a debate about whether the practice should be banned.
