BRAZIL-AGRICULTURE-CARBON EMISSION
Soybean sprouts grow in an area where the sowing was done under organic material, thus allowing the material decomposition from previous crops to protect the soil in the newly cultivated area, at Santa Brigida Farmer in Ipameri, State of Goias, about 300 km from Brasilia, on November 12, 2013. Brazil, which in 2009 presented an ambitious commitment to reduce between 36 and 39% of their CO2 emissions, went from fourth to seventh largest emitter in recent years, after 80% reduction in Amazon deforestation and integrated farming of crop, livestock and forest, according to Climate Observatory.
