GERMANY-NAZI-ART-HISTORY-JEWS-FILES
(FILES) A photo taken on May 5, 2013 shows President of the World Jewish Congress (WJC) Ronald S Lauder at the 14th WJC Plenary Assembly in Budapest. Interviewed by AFP, Lauder called on Germany to take two immediate steps in handling of a vast Nazi-era hoard of priceless artworks: eliminating a 30-year statute of limitations on reclaiming stolen property and forming a commission that would help process claims and examine public collections for stolen works.
