Typhoon victims eat inside the Redemptorist church transformed into an evacuation centre in Tacloban on November 22, 2013. The United Nations has confirmed at least 4,500 killed in the disaster, which brought five-metre (16-foot) wTaves to Tacloban, flattening nearly everything in their path as they swept hundreds of metres across the low-lying land.
