FRANCE-LITERATURE-AUCTION
A picture taken on November 25, 2013 in Paris shows a page signed by late French author Francois-Rene Chateaubriand (1768-1848) from a handwritten copy of his work "Memoires d'outre-tombe" (Memoirs from Beyond the Grave), which will be auctioned off at the Hotel Drouot auction house in Paris on November 26. Signed by the author in 1847 and published posthumously, this sole known full copy of Chateaubriand's work could be ranked as a "national treasure", which could prevent it from being sold outside France.
