Kenyan security forces walk in Kainuk, some 130 km northeast of Kitale in northern Kenya, on November 24, 2013 during a rescue operation of hostages in Lorokon and Nakwamoru, southern Turkana county. Kenyan police said on November 25, 2013 that calm has been restored in the village in the country's northwest following a siege by armed militia from a rival community. Militiamen from the Pokot tribe had last week surrounded the village of Lorokon, home to the rival Turkana community.
