Former prime minister Mario Monti looks on ahead of a confidence vote at the Italian Senate on November 26, 2013 in Rome, on the eve of the vote to expel former tycoon Silvio Berlusconi. "The conditions for continuing our cooperation with this government no longer exist," Paolo Romani, chief senator for Berlusconi's Forza Italia (Go Italy) party, said today.
