NORWAY-NOBEL-PEACE-PRIZE
Ahmet Uzumcu (L), Director General of the Organisation for the Prohibiton of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), delivers his speech next to (from 2dLtoR) Norwegian Nobel Committee chairman Thorbjoern Jagland, Norwegian Nobel committee members Kaci Kullman-Five, Inger Marie Ytterhorn, Berit Reiss-Andersen, Gunnar Stalsett and Nobel Institute director Geir Lundestad at the Nobel Peace Prize award ceremony at the Oslo City Hall on December 10, 2013. The Organisation for the Prohibiton of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) receives the 2013 Peace Nobel Prize today, attributed for its extensive efforts to eliminate chemical weapons.
