SAFRICA-MANDELA-TRIBUTE
A picture of Shelley Davids who died with her mother in a car accident on December 5, 1989 whilst travelling to visit family members in exile with a message below the picture reading that Shelley and Ellen Davids were angels in heaven who welcomed the late former South African president Nelson Mandela when he died on December 5, 2013. The picture and note were attached to a fence at the Grand Parade in Cape Town, where Mandela made his first speech as a free man in 1990. Nelson Mandela died shortly before 21h00 on the 5th December 2013 at his Houghton home in Johannesburg, South Africa at the age of 95. AFP PHOTO/JENNIFER BRUCE
