JAPAN-ROBOT-SPACE-CHRISTMAS
This picture taken on December 19, 2013 shows Japanese robot creator and associate professor of the University of Tokyo, Tomotaka Takahashi (R), chatting to a small humanoid robot named "Mirata", who is the twin brother robot to the world's first astronaut robot "Kirobo" in Takahashi's laboratory at the University of Tokyo. Korobo, the world's first robot astronaut, has begun chatting on December 20, 2013 to the Japanese commander of the International Space Station, in what was being billed as the first conversation of its kind. Kirobo, a pint-sized android equipped with artificial intelligence and capable of learning how to respond appropriately to humans, even put a marker down for Christmas, telling Koichi Wakata he expected a visit from a certain man bearing gifts.
