German's Maria Riesch-Hoefl competes in the women's downhill race at the FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup in Val d'Isere in the French Alps on December 21, 2013. Switzerland's Marianne Kaufmann-Abderhalden recorded her first World Cup win, triumphing in the downhill at the French resort of Val-d'Isere.
