GEORGIA-HISTORY-STALIN
Georgian Communist Party members and supporters carry portraits of late Soviet Union leader Joseph Stalin during a march on December 21, 2013 in his native town of Gori, some 80 kms northwest of Tbilisi, to mark the 134th anniversary of his birth. While Stalin is blamed by many for the deaths of millions in purges, prison camps and forced collectivization, many people still praise him for leading the Soviet Union to victory over Nazi Germany during World War II.
