NETHERLANDS-CHARITY-MEDIA-RADIO
Dutch radio station 3FM DJs Paul Rabbering (R), Giel Beelen (C) and Coen Swijnenberg (L) present a placard dislaying the amount of money (6,232,307 euros) they have already raised during the "Serious Request" fundraising event in the House of Glass (Het Glazen Huis) in Leeuwarden on December 23, 2013. Serious Request is an annual project by Dutch radio station 3FM in which they collect money for Red Cross projects - this year's fundaiser aimed at preventing diarrhoea in children of the Third World. During the event, three DJs live in a house of glass for six days without eating anything, instead drinking special juices to stay fit. The charity event runs from December 18 to 24.
