SCIENCE-ABIGAILLE-CLIMBING-ROBOT
A handout photo released on January 2, 2013 by the European Space Agency the six-legged Abigaille climbing robot, able to transition from vertical to horizontal surfaces taken on January 15, 2013. It clings to surfaces using a gecko-inspired dry adhesive technology. ESA testing shows it is in principle workable in the vacuum conditions of space.
