SYRIA-DENMARK-NORWAY-CONFLICT
A handout picture released by the Norwegian armed forces on January 26, 2014 shows members of the international naval forces aboard the Norwegian frigate HNoMS "Helge Ingstad", earmarked to transport chemical agents from war torn Syria, during a night exercise off the coasts of Limassol in the east Mediterranean island of Cyprus. Four Danish and Norwegian vessels are in the Mediterranean sea waiting for the final order to head to Syria to help in the removal of chemical weapons. A first quantity of priority chemical materials was moved from two sites to the port of Latakia for verification and was then loaded onto a Danish commercial vessel on January 7, 2014.
