BELGIUM-NUCLEAR-US
US Hans Kristensen, director of Nuclear Information Project talks at a session of the chamber commission of external relations and defense, at the federal parliament, in Brussels, on January 29, 2014. The session will focus on the B-61 nuclear bombs, presumed to be in Kleine Brogel base in Belgium. According to the Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation, the US is believed to have deployed approximately 1,950 strategic nuclear warheads, including about 200 B61 gravity bombs deployed in five NATO states (Belgium, Italy, Turkey, Germany, and the Netherlands).
