A model wears a vital sensing underwear using a newly developed fabric "Hitoe" made by Japanese high-tech giant Toray to display user's heart rate and electrocardiogram (ECG) at Toray's headquarters in Tokyo on January 30, 2014. Japan's mobile communication giant NTT Docomo and Toray developed the underwear to measure vital signs and transmit its datas to smartphone with bluetooth connection and NTT Docomo is expecting to commercialize it in this year.
