World class atheletes (R-L), Kenyan 3000m steeplechase world Champion -Ezekiel Kemboi, Double world and Olympic champion Britain's-Mohamed 'Mo' Farah, 2011 world 10,000m champion, Ethiopian- Ibrahim Jeilan, two-time New York marathon winner- Kenya's Geoffrey Mutai, four-time world cross-country champion Lorna Kiplagat and world marathon record holder Paula Radcliffe perform a lap-of-honour on February 1, 2014 at the newly inaugurated Lorna Kiplagat sports Academy in Kenya's high altitude distance running 'mecca', Iten. The elite field for this year's London marathon was unveiled on Saturday in the Kenyan Rift Valley town of Iten where most of the top contenders have converged to take advantage of the high altitude ahead of the big race in April. The athletes, including Britain's double world and Olympic champion Mo Farah and two-time New York marathon winner, Geoffrey Mutai warmed up on the new tartan track funded by the London marathon organisers which was opened by Kenyan-born Dutch athlete, Lornah Kiplagat.
