BELGIUM-IRELAND-FIRE-ACCIDENT
A picture of Sara Gibadlo and flowers hooked to a safety barrier in front of her destroyed university residence commemorates the deceased student who perished in a fire two days before, in Leuven, February 2, 2014. Two other students escaped from the blazing building while firefighters had to go inside the residence and rescue another six on 31 January, 2014. The bodies of Dace Zarina, 22, and Sara Gibadlo, 19, who were on an Erasmus course at the Leuven Institute for Ireland, were recovered later from the house.
