People walk into Lorna Kiplagat Sports Academy as work progresses on the arch over the entry to witness the inauguration of the Academy attended by world class atheletes including Kenyan 3000m steeplechase world Champion Ezekiel Kemboi, Double world and Olympic champion Britain's Mohamed 'Mo' Farah, World marathon record holder Paula Radcliffe and World 10,000m champion Ethiopia's Ibrahim Jeilanon on February 1, 2014 at Kenya's high altitude distance running 'mecca', of Iten. The elite field for this year's London marathon was unveiled on bFebruary 1 in the Kenyan Rift Valley town of Iten where most of the top contenders have converged to take advantage of the high altitude ahead of the big race in April.
