The car is the first of the iconic Mustang automobiles to be sold in the United States. Gail purchased the car new in Chicago after graduating from college for $3,447.50. She needed the car to commute to her new $5,000-a-year job teaching third grade at a suburban school. The show, which is oldest and largest in the nation, will be open to the public February 8 through February 17.
