CYPRUS-UN-TALKS-SETTLEMENT
Turkish Cypriot leader Dervis Eroglu waves as he arrives for a meeting with Cypriot President Anastasiades (unseen) at the now defunct Nicosia international airport in the United Nations Buffer Zone that separates the internationally recognised southern part of the island from the Turkish-occupied north of Cyprus. Anastasiades and his Turkish Cypriot counterpart pledged to work towards clinching agreement on ending the island's division "as soon as possible", a joint statement said.
