TOPSHOTS-CENTRAFRICA-UNREST
A member of the ex-Seleka rebels poses with a fake weapon in a room of late Centrafrican emperor Jean-Bedel Bokassa's palace in Beringo, on March 3, 2014. Ex-Seleka rebels were trained here when former Centrafrican President Michel Djotodia was at the head of the country, and were abandonned when Djotodia resigned. There is no chance of bringing rapid stability to the Central African Republic without "massive" international support, the strife-torn country's interim president warned on March 3. "I inherited a country on the verge of collapse, with rampant insecurity, a lack of state authority across its national territory and facing an unprecedented humanitarian disaster," Catherine Samba-Panza told a women's forum in Kinshasa.
