IRAQ-UNREST-ANFAL
Iraqi Kurds stand near one of 93 coffins draped with the Kurdish flag and containing the recently exhumed remains of victims of the Anfal massacre during a burial ceremony in Arbil, the capital of the autonomous Kurdish region of northern Iraq, on March 6, 2014. The bodies were exhumed in the southern city of Samawa in November 2013 and are believed to be victims of the Anfal campaign which began in 1986 and lasted until 1989 and was perpetrated by the regime of the former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.
