This photo taken on March 6, 2014, shows Somali military sector-one-commander Mahmud Mohamed Hassan standing under a tree at the Somali government army base in Tobanka Buundo in the lower Shabelle region, near the Somalian capital Mogadishu, near where residents created a road block during a protest against the Islamist Al-Shabab insurgent group. Elders from the area said that they support the government in its struggle to defeat Al-Shabab. The UN Security Council on March 5 extended an easing of a weapons ban in Somalia, but tightened some restrictions to ensure the arms don't end up in the hands of Islamist extremists.
