FRANCE-SOCIAL-EMPLOYMENT-BRIDGESTONE
A view taken on March 10, 2014 shows the Bridgestone plant in Bethune, northern France. The French CGT and Sud-Solidaires unions at Bridgestone, the largest tyre and rubber manufacturer, wrote an open letter on March 7 to the French Minister for Industrial Renewal, stating their concern for the future of their plant which employs 1,136 people and which was labelled "not profitable enough" by its management.
