Archbishop of Madrid, Antonio Maria Rouco Varela leads a commemorative mass held for the victims of the Madrid train bombings on March 11, 2014 marking the10th year anniversary of the attacks that claimed 191 lives and injured more than 1800 others. On March 11, 2004 at 7:40 am, 10 bombs exploded on board four packed commuter trains in Madrid in an attack claimed by the Al-Qaeda terror network, which said they were punishment for Spain's role in the US-led invasion of Iraq.
