US-WEATHER- WINTER STORM
This NASA satellite image shows a winter storm Wiley forming over the US March 16, 2014. Even though Spring is less than a week away, Wiley will bring more snow and some ice from parts of the Midwest to the Middle Atlantic states through March 18. Winter weather advisories and winter storm warnings are posted from northern Arkansas to southern New Jersey. There is potential for freezing rain and snow accumulations of 6 inches or more in parts of the I-95 corridor south of Philadelphia, including Washington, DC area.
