INDIA-ELECTION
Indian union minister and patron for the National Conference Farooq Abdullah (C), who contesting Srinagar's seat for the lower house of parliament in India's general election addresses an election rally on the outskirts of Srinagar on April 8, 2014. Indians have begun voting in the world's biggest election which is set to sweep the Hindu nationalist opposition to power at a time of low growth, anger about corruption and warnings about religious unrest.
