HUNGARY-ISRAEL-JEWS-NAZI-HOLOCAUST-MEMORIAL
Some grass grows out between the stones on the bank of the Danube River, nearby the 'Shoes statue of a memorial place of the Holocaust victims' in downtown of Budapest on April 16, 2014 during the Holocaust memorial day. The event marks the 70th anniversary of the beginning of the Hungarian holocaust during which some 600,000 Jewish Hungarians were deported to Nazi death camps in Austria, Germany and Poland. Thousands of Hungarians were shot and thrown into the river by the Nazis and the Hungarian Nazis collaborators in 1944. AFP PHOTO / ATTILA KISBENEDEK
