A convoy of French troops of the Sangaris forces patrols on April 17, 2014 between Bambari and Ippy, in the center of the Central African Republic. Thousands of people have been killed and many more have fled in waves of bloodshed that have convulsed the Central African Republic since a coup in March last year.
