Luis Suarez was one of three Liverpool players nominated Friday, April 19, 2014, for England's Professional Footballers' Association player of the year award. The Uruguayan, the leading scorer in the Premier League so far this season, was joined on the shortlist Friday by team-mates Steven Gerrard and Daniel Sturridge, with all three men having played a key role in guiding Liverpool to the top of the table ahead of this weekend's matches.
