People mourn during the ceremony celebrating the 99th anniversary of the Anzac Day in Canakkale on April 25, 2014. Tens of thousands of Australians and New Zealanders attended memorials to remember those who have fought and died in war, on the 99th anniversary of the ill-fated Gallipoli landings. Each year thousands attend ANZAC Day services marking the anniversary of the World War I campaign which took the lives of more than 10,000 New Zealand and Australian servicemen.
