FRANCE-JUSTICE-CHILDSEX-TRIAL
Franck Lavier and his wife Sandrine Lavier (R), two of the 17 defendants appearing free on trial for gang raping 18 children, aged three to 12 at the time of the events, from 1995 to 2000, in the northern town of Outreau, arrive 01 June 2004 at the courthouse in the northern French city of Saint-Omer. Thirteen of the defendants, including Duchochoy, were cleared 18 May 2004 by one of the persons charged in the case, Myriam Badaoui. In the cenetr is Bernadette Lavier, mother of Franck Lavier.
