US-FRANCE-TRANSPORT-MONKEYS
Travellers make their way past PETA protesters holding placards and shouting slogans in front of the Air France international terminal at Los Angeles International Airport on April 28, 2014 in Los Angeles, California where they were joined by Emmy-Award winning actor James Cromwell who stepped into a cage to protest against the airline's cruelty to monkeys. The protesters are demanding Air France join every other major airline in the world and stop flying thousands of monkeys to laboratories, "where they are caged, cut into, poisoned, crippled, deprived of food and water, infected with deadly diseases, and killed".
