(FILES) - A file picture taken on March 2, 2014 shows Rupert Murdoch as he arrives to the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in West Hollywood, California. News Corp., the media empire controlled by Rupert Murdoch, said on May 2, 2014 it is buying leading romantic novel publisher Harlequin Enterprises for 455 million Canadian dollars (300 million euros) in cash. Harlequin, which publishes the work of more than 1,300 authors and issues 110 new novels each month, was sold by Canadian press group Torstar. It will be absorbed into News Corp.'s book publishing group HarperCollins, bringing a more international customer base since 99.0 percent of HarperCollins books are published only in English.
