Sunny Ofehe with other Dutch nationals was reportedly kidnapped in Nigeria on May 4, 2014 by armed men in Letugbene, in the core of the Niger Delta region. There are conflicting reports about the number of people that have been kidnapped. The Dutch nationals were abducted in Nigeria's oil-rich, southern Bayelsa state, officials said on May 5, 2014.
