A man puts his ballot papers into the voting boxes at the voting station in Bo Kaap, a predominantly Muslim area, as South Africans go to the polls to vote in South Africa's fourth democratic general election on May 7, 2014, in Cape Town.This vote takes place about 20 years after South Africa voted in the first democratic elections, in 1994. The ruling political party in South Africa, the African National Congress(ANC) is hoping to consolidate it's hold on power through the upcoming elections.
