MACEDONIA-PRIME MINISTER-KOSTOV
Newly-appointed Macedonian Prime Minister Hari Kostov (2L-first row) walks down the stairway of the Macedonian Parliament flanked by his deputy Prime Minister Radmila Sekerinska (L), Foreign Minister Ilinka Mitreva (R) and other ministers behind them following a reception with President Branko Crvenkovski 02 June 2004 in the capital Skopje. Kostov, an economist by training who has no political party affiliation and who has served as Interior Minister since late 2002, replaced Branko Crvenkovski in the post. Crvenkovski vacated the PM-s role when he was elected president of Macedonia last month, following the death of Boris Trajkovski, killed in a plane crash over Bosnia 26 February.
