AFGHANISTAN-BRITAIN-STERGA-CLOSURE
This handout picture received on May 11, 2014 from Britain's Ministry of Defence shows a helicopter airlifting artillery during the closure of Observation Post Sterga 2 in Afghanistan's Helmand Province. Sterga, which was opened in August 2013, was closed on May 10 , 2014 marking an important phase in ending British combat operations in Afghanistan, as it was the last remaining Britsih base outside Camp Bastion.
