TAIWAN-CHINA-MILITARY-AIRCRAFT
The handout photo taken in 2007 and released on May 12, 2014 by Taiwan's Aerospace Industrial Development Corp (AIDC) shows a prototype of upgraded Indigenous Defence Fighters, the island's only locally designed fighter, taking off from an airbase in Chingchuankang in central Taiwan. Taiwan's sole aircraft maker AIDC was permitted on May 12 to be listed on the local stock exchange as part of a government drive to privatise large state enterprises.
