Workers hang a painting by Jonathan Yeo titled "Girl Reading (Malala Yousafzai)" before the start of the auction May 14, 2014 at Christie's Afternoon Session of Post-War and Contemporary Art in New York. The portrait is of Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani schoolgirl shot by the Taliban for campaigning for girls’ education. The sale of the painting benefits the Malala Fund, a charity set up by Malala to support the fight for girls’ right to have an education.
