Symbolic toy ships are in a pool when activists of Ukrainian Democratic Alliance organization fill it with the blood and guts of animals from an abattoir during the action in front of French embassy in Kiev on May 15, 2014, called "Ships sail in sea of blood" as they protest against the sale of French ships to Russia, France agreed in 2011 to sell two Mistral-class helicopter carriers to Russia, attracting criticism from several NATO allies concerned over Russia's military resurgence in the wake of the 2008 Georgia war.
