BOSNIA-FLOODS
Bosnian volonteers build a sandwall in their effort to protect the city of Orasje in Northern Bosnia from further flooding, after the rise of the Tinja river destroyed a bridge connecting the Northern-Bosnian town of Brcko to the town of Orasje, on May 18, 2014. Rivers Sava, Tinja and Brka flooded entire agricultural fields and several urban areas in Bosnia and Serbia. Armed forces have been put at disposal to civillian authority as well as rescue services from neighboring Croatia and Slovenia, to aid rescue of stranded citizens in areas that have been cut off by flood.
