GERMANY-ARCHAEOLOGY
The Slawenburg, a replica of the 1000-year old Slavic castle, is pictured on 16 May, 2014 in Raddusch, in the Spreewald, eastern Germany. Remains of a Slavic castle had been brought to light during archaeological excavations. With the now completed permanent exhibition "Archaeology in Lower Lusatia," who designed the Brandenburg State Office for Heritage and Archaeological Museum, the ensemble is complete. The replica of the 1000 year old Slavic castle was opened on 28.05.2003. AFP PHOTO /DPA/ PATRICK PLEUL /GERMANY OUT
